PRIDE MONTH 2020 - MONTH OF UNITY AGAINST RACISM
While the city has traditionally showed its Pride colors, many LGBTQ New Yorkers are joining to show their solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. The protests have been occurring daily in different boroughs of New York City.
We had a chance to join protesters at Gracie Mansion, Mayor de Blasio's current residence, a demonstration in Forest Hills, Queens, a neighborhood that's barely known for any protest activity, and a smaller rally on Fifth Avenue, in Manhattan.
Hopefully, we managed to capture the spirit of all of them.
